Rain Lover
How much I love the pouring rain,
I cannot say out loud,
Yet if I put it into words, it'd form a loving cloud.
The sky becomes a canvas grey, with whispers soft and free,
Like nature's quiet lullaby, a melody for me.
Each drop descends with gentle grace, a dance upon the earth,
Soft as a lover's touch, awakening every part,
Bringing life to every blade, sparking nature's rebirth,
Much like the hope I feel within, among life's trials and art.
Like tears that cleanse a heavy heart, gentle and serene,
The rain restores the world anew, in every shade of green.
Raindrops race down window panes, a rhythmic, soothing song,
Closer to the ground they fall, where they have long belonged.
Two souls in quiet symphony, in every tear we share,
Embracing every tear, as the rain continues falling, its story crystal clear.
The earth absorbs each tender drop, a bond that's strong and true,
Like two hearts merging into one, beneath the sky's soft blue.
Rain and soil, now intertwined, in nature's warm embrace,
Two bodies now inseparable, within their sacred space.
Then shadows stretch and lengthen, as daylight starts to fall,
Hesitating, stepping back, the light begins to call.
Like two hearts that face their fears, yet find their way apart,
The downpour slows, the spark is gone, a once united heart.
The rain has spent its passion, the rain now fades away,
Like one heart giving all its love, before the break of day.
Parted now, yet memories of union still remain,
In the whispers of the breeze, and the rain’s sweet refrain.
—love,
