Words I Should've Said
I write when people inspire me,
When words get too heavy to speak out,
When life gets harder, less easy, more tough,
When I need to cry, but words come out.
I write because it heals me,
All wounds from inside disappear,
And I need to cry more than one tear
When I'm done feeling fear.
I write too much, they say,
Yet I haven't shared all that I've got inside,
All those feelings, love, pain, and pride,
While life is left outside.
I write pure words and feelings
When I feel too much and can't express
All thoughts and nothing less,
All the words I should've once said.
